PlanBuild wasn’t built overnight. It grew from years of watching kitchens and bathrooms fail because of the gap between designers and builders — and deciding to close that gap ourselves, in the homes we’ve come to know across Eastern Pennsylvania.

Every other room in a house, you can live with. But the kitchen and the bathroom — those two, you deal with every single day. A kitchen that doesn't flow, a bathroom that leaks, a shower door that won't close right — these aren't cosmetic issues. They wear on you. We built PlanBuild around a simple belief: the two most-used rooms in your home deserve specialists, not generalists.

Rahat Kamal
Rahat leads PlanBuild’s vision, strategy, and client relationships. With deep experience in design-build project delivery and a hands-on approach to every major project, Rahat ensures the studio’s original promise — design and build under one accountable team — never gets diluted.
He’s directly involved in project reviews, quality checkpoints, and client escalations. If you’re a PlanBuild client, you’ll meet him.

One Team, End to End
Traditional projects need a designer + contractor + supplier — each blaming the other when things go wrong. PlanBuild handles all three under one roof, one written contract, one accountability. If something's off, there's no one to point at but us — and we fix it.
Fixed-Price Contracts
Every project starts with a written, itemized quote — line by line, with brand, model, and grade specified. No surprise change orders. If a cost adjustment is ever needed, it's documented and approved by you before work continues.
Deep, Not Wide
We don't do full-home interiors. We don't do office fitouts. We only do kitchens and bathrooms — because that focus is where mastery comes from. You wouldn't hire a general practitioner for surgery. Same principle applies here.
Documented Everything
Every stage of every project is documented with photos, sign-offs, and reports shared with the client. If a warranty issue arises three years from now, we can pull up the exact photo of the waterproofing that was installed. No arguments possible.
